The first step is to search and confirm whether the species is tradable, you can search species here. Next step is to create an account on the e-permit portal. You have to enter all the details as specified in the registration form. On successful registration an email with an activation link and One Time Passcode is sent to you. When the link is clicked you will be redirected to the activation screen where you will enter the OTP and your account will be activated instantly.
Step 2
Upon successful activation, you navigate to the login page, click on the button below to login into the e-permit portal Enter your email address as entered in the registration step and password, then click on the submit button.
Step 3
Once you have logged in successfully you will be presented with a dashboard and menu on the left side, click on the applications menu item, this will take you to a list of applications that you have applied for with their status if any. Click on the Add New button on the right side of the applications list to initiate the process of filling the application form.
Step 4
A form is presented with a help box on the left which contains instructions on how to fill each segment of the application. Please note that the application will not be submitted until you reach the end of the application process, however a draft of the application is saved and you can come back to it later as described in step 3 above, the status of that application will be NOT SUBMITTED(meaning that the application is still in the draft phase) until it has been submitted for processing.
Notifications
When an application has been submitted, you will not be able to edit it until a request from authority is sent to you, for every action that happens on the application you will receive an email notification and if an email is not received you can always login into the portal and check the notifications or click on the specimen category to view the details of the application.
